There shall be one objective type paper of 200 marks comprising 200 questions on Chemistry,

Physics, Botany and Zoology.

Additional Information

(a) There shall be a Combined Admission Test for admission to M.B.B.S. and B.D.S.. Candidates

applying for M.B.B.S. can also apply for admission to B.D.S. on the same Application Form

Without paying any additional Test Fee. They should clearly indicate in their Application Form

Their choices in order of preference.

(b) Selected candidates will have to go through medical fitness examination before

Completing the admission.

B. Tech. only Test Paper Details

There shall be one objective type paper of 150 marks comprising 150 questions on Chemistry,

Physics and Mathematics.

Candidates applying for admission to B.Tech. can also apply for admission to B.Arch. on the

same Application Form after paying additional Admission Test fee of Rs.100.00 Such candidates

shall also have to appear in Paper II (details are provided under B.Arch. course)

B. Tech. & B. Arch. Test Paper Details There shall be two papers of equal weight age

Paper-I: Common with B.Tech. applicants (details are provided under B.Tech. programmed)

Paper-II (Architecture Aptitude Test): It shall contain some descriptive questions and Test of Drawing.

Note:

1. Candidates should secure at least 40% marks in Paper-II(Architecture Aptitude Test) to

Become eligible for selection.

2. Candidates are advised to bring their own drawing and sketching material like pencils, eraser,

Sharpener, pen, ink, Pencil Colors, Water Colors etc. Drawing Sheets and/or Answer Booklet

Shall be provided to the candidates.

3. Candidates including Rank Holders of Diploma in Engineering of AMU / Foreign Nationals /

NRIs seeking admission to B.Arch. Course, are compulsorily required to appear and secure

40% marks in the B.Tech./B.Arch. Test (Architectural Aptitude Test-Paper-II) conducted by

The AMU as stipulated by the Council of Architecture for registration as an Architect.

There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions with the

following breakup :

a) Science (Physics, Chemistry and Life Science) : 50 Marks

b) Mathematics : 30 Marks

c) General Knowledge : 10 Marks

d) Indo-Islamic Culture : 10 Marks

 

Dip. in Engineering Test Paper Details

There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions with the

following breakup :

a) Science (Physics and Chemistry) 40 Marks

b) Mathematics 40 Marks

c) General Knowledge 10 Marks

d) Indo-Islamic Culture 10 Marks

 

Additional Information

Candidates are required to indicate their choices, in order of preference, in the Application Form

By compulsorily opting out all available branches.

Note: The test paper shall be available in three languages- English, Hindi and Urdu.

S.S.S.C. (Humanities/Commerce) Test Paper Details

There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions with the

following breakup :

a) Social Studies (Civics, Economics, History and Geography) 60 Marks

b) Mathematics 20 Marks

c) General Knowledge 10 Marks

d) Indo-Islamic Culture 10 Marks

 

B. Ed. Test Paper Details

There shall be one paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions on

a) Intelligence and General English : 50 questions

b) Relevant Test Subject : 50 questions

 

Additional Information

(a) Candidates seeking admission to B.Ed. Course are advised to enclose with the Application

Form, self attested photocopies of all years/semesters mark-sheets of B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. /

B.Th. / Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics

Those who have done Post-graduation shall enclose self attested photocopies of all

Years/semesters mark-sheets of M.A. / M. Sc. / M.Com. / M.Th. If a candidate does not

Enclose the copies of the above required mark-sheets; his/her application shall be rejected.

(b) Admitted candidates shall be allotted, in addition to his/her Test Subject, a second School

Subject for practice teaching from any one of the remaining school subjects as per eligibility of

the candidates and the infrastructural facilities available in the Department and the Practicing

Schools. Furthermore, the Medium of practice teaching will be decided by the Chairman,

Department of Education.

M.B.A Test Paper Details

There shall be one objective type paper of 200 marks comprising 200 questions on (I)

Environmental Awareness (ii) Quantitative and Numerical Ability (iii) Comprehension and Verbal

Ability (iv) Reasoning and Intelligence (v) Data Analysis and Interpretation.

 

Additional Information

There shall be a Combined Admission Test for admission to MBA, MBA (IB) and P.G. Diploma

In Islamic Banking & Finance. Candidates applying for MBA can also apply for admission to

MBA (IB) and P.G. Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance on the same Application Form

Without paying any additional Admission Test Fee. However, they should clearly indicate their

Choices, in order of preference, in the Application Form.

B. U. M. S./ Pre-Tib Test Paper Details

There shall be two papers. Paper-I is of 150 marks comprising 10 descriptive questions. Paper- II

Is of 100 marks comprising 87 questions. The details are as follows:

B L. I. Sc. Test Paper Details

There shall be one paper of 100 marks comprising of 100 Multiple Choice questions as per the

details given below :

1. General English 50 marks

2. General Knowledge 40 marks

M. A. Mass Communication Test Paper Details

There shall be one paper of 100 marks comprising 40 objective type questions on General

Awareness and 4 descriptive type questions on Communicative Skills.

 

B.A. LL. B. Test Paper Details

There shall be one paper of 100 marks consisting of 75 objective type questions (75% weight age)

and 10 short answer type questions (25% weight age) on :

1. General English

2. Current Affairs/General Knowledge (with emphasis on legal issues)

3. Reasoning and Aptitude

 

M. L. I. Sc. Test Paper Details

There shall be one paper of B.L.I.Sc. Standard of 100 marks comprising of the following Sections

:

a) 60 Multiple choice questions 60 marks

b) 06 Short Answer Questions (up to 50 words) 30 marks

c) 01 Essay Type Question(up to 250 words) 10 marks

 

B. E. (Evening) Test Paper Details

There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions with 25 questions on

Physical Sciences and 75 questions on relevant Engg. Sciences.

 

Additional Information

1. Candidates professionally employed outside the country shall submit their Experience Certificate duly attested

By the concerned Embassy/Consulate.

2. Students admitted to B.E.(Evening) shall have to pay Development Charges of Rs. 25,000.00 per annum in

Addition to usual charges for the duration of the course subject to revision.

M. Sc. Biotechnology Test Paper Details

There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions on Chemistry,

Botany, Zoology & Elementary Mathematics.

 

LL. M. Test Paper Details

There shall be one paper of 100 marks consisting of 20 short answer type questions of

LL.B./BA.LL.B. Standard.

There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks with the following break-up:

B. Com. (Honors) Test Paper Details

There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks with the following components:

f) Reasoning & Numerical Ability 10 Marks

Master of Agribusiness Management Test Paper Details

There shall be one objective type paper of 200 marks comprising 200 questions on (I)

B. S. W Test Paper Details

And Social Sciences. Candidates applying for admission to B.A.(Hons.) in the Faculty of Arts

can also apply for admission to B.A.(Hons.) in the Faculty of Social Sciences on the same

Application Form without paying any additional Test Fee. However, they should clearly indicate

Their choices, in order of preference, in the Application Form.

B. Candidate applying for admission to B.A. (Hons.) Course should indicate only the main

Subject in the Application Form which he/she wants to study. Subsidiary subjects shall be

Allotted at the time of admission, subject to the options available.

Section I English : 25 Marks

Note: Sections I, II and III are compulsory. Candidates will have the choice to attempt any one

Section from IV and V.

 

Additional Information

A. There shall be a Combined Admission Test for admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) in the Faculties of Science,

Life Sciences and Agricultural Sciences. Candidates applying for admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) in the

Faculty of Life Sciences can also apply for admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) in the Faculties of Science and

Agricultural Sciences on the same Application Form without paying any additional Test Fee… However,

They should clearly indicate their choices, in order of preference, in the Application Form.

B. Candidate applying for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Course should indicate only the main subject in the

Application Form which he/she wants to study. Subsidiary subjects shall be allotted at the time of

Admission, subject to the options available.
